1) State Water Resources Control Board Construction General Permit Renewal Roadshow Continues, Last Chance to Participate

There are just a few more opportunities to participate in the State’s roll-out of the recently renewed General Construction Permit for stormwater. If you haven't already registered and attended one of these Road Show events, now is your last chance to sign up.


2) Governor Newsom Signs Executive Order to Build More Infrastructure and Faster

Governor Newsom just signed an Executive Order aimed at speeding up critical infrastructure projects in California. The Order is welcome news to the Construction Industry and its workforce.


3) Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Co-Sponsors Water Conservation Legislation

Metropolitan has officially signed on as a co-sponsor of statewide legislation that would prohibit businesses and institutions from using drinking water to irrigate decorative or non-functional lawns. Assembly Bill 1572, introduced by Assemblymember Laura Freidman (D-Burbank), would phase out the use of potable water to irrigate non-functional grass that is not used for recreation or other purposes on commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional properties.
