One Water, Many Ways to Save: A Presentation by Metropolitan Water District in Response to California Drought Conditions
This presentation provides information on current drought conditions and shares ways MWD and local water agencies are supporting our communities to help them save water and money. Drought conditions throughout California and the western United States are extreme and worsening. Record setting weather conditions led Governor Newsom to declare a drought emergency in 50 counties and call for 15% voluntary conservation. MWD has invested heavily in local water resources development and regional conservation programs to support local water agencies.
